Define SAP Pricing Schema

This SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) tutorial, explains the step-by-step procedure to define pricing schema in the SAP system with the proper screenshots.

What is Pricing Schema in SAP?

The Pricing Schema in SAP MM is useful for SAP users to minimize condition types while mentioning prices for Vendor on the basis of the Pricing Schema which is defined according to organization requirements. The Pricing Schema means the calculation procedure of Condition Type.

How to Define Pricing Schema in SAP?

Please follow the steps below to define the pricing schema in your SAP system:

Enter t-code SPRO in the SAP Command Field and then press Enter button to Execute.

Now on Customizing: Execute Project screen click the SAP Reference IMG button to proceed.

Next, navigate to the following SAP IMG path:

SPRO > SAP Reference IMG > Sales and Distribution > Basic Function > Bonus Buy > Maintain Pricing Schema

Next on the Change View "Procedures": Overview screen, you will see the previously defined pricing schema on your SAP system.

Next, click the New Entries button to define a new pricing schema in your SAP system.

Now, provide the following details for the new pricing schema as shown in the image below:

  • Procedure: Enter an alpha-numeric id that defines the new pricing schema
  • Description: Enter the short description for the new pricing schema.

Once all the details are entered click the Save button to save the details of the new pricing schema in SAP MM.

Next, select your Customization Request id and press Enter to proceed.

A message Data was saved will be displayed on the bottom of your screen.

You have successfully created a new Pricing Schema in your SAP system.
