Before applying for the re-evaluation of marks you should keep in mind that any increase or decrease of even a single mark will affect the final mark sheet.
Candidate have to surrender their current Marksheet cum Certificate and a new Marksheet cum Certificate will be issued with revised marks.

Step 1: Verification of Marks
Verification of Marks is just recounting the total of marks obtained in individual answers, or you can say it’s just a recounting of marks.
To apply for verification of marks visit CBSE official Website: https://www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/cbse.html
Click on button VERIFICATION PROCESS
Click on Click Here to Apply Online button or open the below link https://cbseit.in/cbse/web/rchk/
Then click on the button “Apply for Verification - Class 10” or “Apply for Verification - Class 12”
- Follow the instructions and fill out the form.
- Pay the application fee
- Download the confirmation page for future communication
Date Class 10: 20 May 2024 (Monday) to 24 May 2024 (Friday) upto Midnight
Date Class 12: 17 May 2024 (Friday) to 21 May 2024 (Tuesday) upto Midnight
Fee Class 10: Rs. 500 per subject
Fee Class 12: Rs. 500 per subject
Step 2: Obtaining (Scanned) Photocopy of the Evaluated Answer Book
If you are still not satisfied with the marks then you can obtain a photocopy of your answer sheet.
Eligibility: Only the Candidate who has applied for Verification of marks can apply to obtain a photocopy of the evaluated answer books
Date Class 10: 04 June 2024 (Tuesday) to 05 June 2024 (Wednesday) up to midnight
Date Class 12: 01 June 2024 (Saturday) to 02 June 2024 (Sunday) up to midnight
Fee Class 10: Rs. 500 per subject
Fee Class 12: Rs. 700 per subject
Step 3: Re-evaluation of Answers
Now you have a photocopy of your answer sheet, now you can check your answer sheet, and if you think that the marks given to the answers you have given are not correct then you can challenge the marks given to any question.
Eligibility: Only Candidate who has applied for Obtaining Scanned Photocopy
Date Class 10: 09 June 2024 (Sunday) to 10 June 2024 Monday up to midnight
Date Class 12: 06 June 2024 (Thursday) to 07 June 2024 Friday up to midnight
Fee Class 10: Rs. 100 per Question
Fee Class 12: Rs. 100 per Questions
Points to keep in mind before applying for Re-evaluation of marks
1. Marks obtained after doing a re-evaluation of marks are the final marks (Increase or Decrease) in Marks
2. The result of the re-evaluation is final and no appeal or review can be done against the re-evaluation of marks.
