How to Calculate Depreciation for 15 days in FI-AA Process?

Hi SAP Experts,

I have a doubt in FI-AA Process.
A Machine works only 15 days in a month. Generally I calculate a depreciation monthly, based on the depreciation key. But I want to calculate a depreciation for 15 days.
Is it possible If its possible what are the extra configurations required??
Please send the above scenario configaratin steps.

Hello Nitesh we have one Option to calculate day wise depreciation..This is the path go through this and do the configuration settings IMG: Financial Accounting (New)-->Asset Accounting --> Depreciation --> Valuation Methods --> Depreciation Key --> Maintain Depreciation Key In Here give the chart of deprecation double click on(Chart of deprecation) Give tick mark on check box " Dep. to the day " Then the system will calculate deprecation day wise.

Yes that is possible ,while creating the depreciation key through t-code AFAMA there is a check box DEP TO THE DAY that should be select for calculating the depreciation for days.

In AFAMA Screen i.e., maintain depreciation key ,You need to flag two check boxes 1.DEPRECIATION UP TO THE DAY 2.Period control according to the fiscal year will manifest your doubt.
