Cost center CTR RLIF/121212, cost element 400200: Tracing factor for splitting is zero Message no. KD301

I have done Cost center input planning in KP06 of Cost elements Salary - 120,000; Electricity - 150,000; Depreciation - 250,000. and did the planning in KP06 - Clean - 100, Labour - 200, Machine - 250. and assigned the Splitting to Cost Center 121212.

When I run the t codes, KSS4 and KSPI, Splitting happens correctly.
and when I am doing it for Actual values in KSS2 and KSII, Its not splitting correctly.

Can you pls see the attachment and advice me.

Diagnosis
The plan/actual costs for cost element 400200 cannot be settled to the CO activities for period 10 according to assignment rule 1 in cost center CTR RLIF/121212 because the tracing factor in plan and in actual is zero.
System Response
The plan/actual costs for cost element 400200 are split according to the equivalence numbers for the activity types.

Its splitting equally as Actual Quantity is not maintained.

Actual Quantities has to be confirmed at CO11N.

Issue was the Actual hours to be maintained.

As these are not maintained, Its splitting equally.

When activities are confirmed in CO11N, Actual hours will be updated to Work center center. Then, why is the need to update Actual hours?

When running KSS2 and KSII, why Actual hours are not considered during Splitting.

Give me the clear picture where you are using it.If it is for product costing then there will be routing defined by the PP consultant which is defined with reference to KP26 and KP06 planning,
so while doing std. cost estimate we get the plan figures ,so we do the FB50 postings then on the basis cost center split rule defined it is going to split.

Yes, I am practicing Product costing. I have done cost center input planning (Cost elements against cost center in KP06) and (Cost centers against Activity types in KP26) and I created Splitting structured and assigned it to Cost center. Then I run KSS4 and KSPI. For plan activity price calculation, Splitting done correct as I can see price in "Fixed rate" tab in KP26.

and the way, I want to do Actual Activity Price calculation as part of month end process.

Here, Splitting is not happening correctly.

In work centers ur specifying only estimated hours for activity we does not know how much activity hours consumed for finished product while doing standard cost estimate on while doing production process we got to know why is the actual qty and actual activity hours spen on each finished product for that purpose we have to confirm co11n for activity hours and need to move the goods from production to stock the only u can get actual qty detail the. And also book any actual expenses incurred for the product it's optional right now ur doing practice do the kss2&ksii

When activities were confirmed in CO11N, Due to some reason, Actual Activity hours were not updated to Work Center Cost Center.

This morning, when I checked, Details in Actual Activity is blank.

Then, I have confirmed the Activities again. You can see below actual activities are shown.

Then, I run KSS2 and KSII.

Splitting done correctly.
