This SAP tutorial explains step by step procedure to create a user group in SAP Query
What are User Groups?
A group of multiple users is known as a user group. We can assign various different authorization and tasks to all the users managing a user group.
How to Create an SAP User Group?
Please follow the steps below to create a query group in SAP:
Run the t-code SQ03 in the SAP command field.
Next, go to Environment > Query Areas to make sure that you are in the correct SAP Query area.
On the pop-up window select the Standard Area (Client-specific) option and click Choose
Next in the User Group field input the name of the Query Group and click the Create button.
Now in the popup enter a short relevant description about the new User Groups and then click the Save button.
You will get a message User Group Z_Stech saved at the bottom of your screen.
Assign Users to Query Groups
Once the user group is created you have to assign users to the newly created User Group. To do that perform the following steps:
On the main screen click the Assign Users and InfoSets button.
On the next screen enter, all the SAP User-Ids of you want to be included in the new user group.
Now click the Save button to save your entries.
You will get a message User Group Z_Stech saved at the bottom of your screen.
