CX_SY_ARITHMETIC_OVERFLOW dumps in SAP SM:EXEC SERVICES

Hello SAP Experts,

The Job SM:EXEC SERVICES dumps with an exception CX_SY_ARITHMETIC_OVERFLOW.

The following error is generated:

1) Runtime Errors BCD_OVERFLOW

2) Runtime Errors ONVT_OVERFLOW

Please help me resolve this error.

The error you are facing is caused because of high value on ST03 because of a bug on Kernel SP Level as per SAP Document 2241334.
- Therefore Please on the Managed System, go to ST03 -> Double click on Total -> And Choose Background.
- Now expand Total and select the most current week range.
- Now double click on 'Time Profile' and check for a large value in any of the columns.

In order to resolve this error please upgrade the Kernel level on the affected managed system to the latest available patch.
Note: After you upgrade the Kernel SP level the dumps will last up for up to 7 weeks due the historical data stored in ST03.
