What ACL Group in SAP?
SAP ACL (Access Control List) Group is a list that specifies the users or user groups who can access an object.
An ACL group consists of:
- Identifier (ID)
- Name
- Description
How to Define ACL Group in SAP?
Please follow the steps below to define the ACL group in the SAP system:
Enter t-code SPRO in the SAP command field and Run it.
Now on Customizing: Execute Project click the SAP Reference IMG button.
Next, go to the following SAP menu path:
SPRO > SAP Reference IMG > SAP Netweaver > Application Server > Basic Server > Enterprise Content Management Integration > Define ACL Groups
On the Change View "ECMI: Groups": Overview screen, you will see the list of the previously defined ACL groups on your SAP system.
Next click on the New Entries button to define a new ACL group in your SAP system.
Now, provide the following details for the new ACL groups:
- Group Name: Input four digits unique code that identifies the new
- Description: Enter a short description of the new ACL groups.
Once all the details are entered click the Save button to save the configuration of the new ACL groups.
Next, select your Customization Request id and press Enter to proceed.
A message Data was saved will be displayed on the bottom of your screen.
You have successfully defined a new ACL group STEH in your SAP system.
