What is Days' Supply Type in SAP?
The days' supply in SAP systems measures or calculates the number of days (from present days) that are left until a requirement cannot be covered by the product stock.
How to Define Days' Supply Type in SAP?
Please follow the steps below to define the days' supply type in your SAP system:
Enter t-code SPRO in the SAP Command Field and then press Enter button to Execute.
Now on Customizing: Execute Project screen click the SAP Reference IMG button to proceed.
Next, navigate to the following SAP IMG path:
SPRO > SAP Reference IMG > Advanced Planning > Order View > Define Days' Supply Types
Next on the Change View "Days' Supply Type": Overview screen, you will see the previously defined days' supply type on your SAP system.
Next, click the New Entries button to define a new days' supply type in your SAP system.
Now, provide the following details for the new days' supply type as shown in the image below:
Once all the details are entered click the Save button to save the details of the new days' supply type.
Next, select your Customization Request id and press Enter to proceed.
A message Data was saved will be displayed on the bottom of your screen.
You have successfully created a new Days' Supply Type in your SAP system.
