Define FPM Message Mapper

What is FPM in SAP?

SAP FPM (Floorplan Manager) in Netweaver provides SAP users with a new way of displaying messages on the application screen as a Notification Icon.

How to Define FPM Message Mapper in SAP?

Please follow the steps below to define the fpm message mapper in your SAP system:

Enter t-code SPRO in the SAP command field and press Enter key to Execute it.

Now on Customizing: Execute Project screen click the SAP Reference IMG button to proceed.

Next, navigate to the following SAP IMG path:

SPRO > SAP Reference IMG > SAP NetWeaver > UI Technologies > Floorplan Manager > Message Settings > Define FPM Message Mapping

Next on the Change View "Maintenance View for FPM Message Mapper": Overview screen, you will see the previously defined FPM message mapper on your SAP system.

Next, click the New Entries button to define a new FPM Message Mapper in your SAP system.

Now, provide the following details for the new FPM Message Mapper as shown in the image below:

Once all the details are entered click the Save button to save the configuration for the new fpm message mapper.

Next, select your Customization Request id and press Enter to proceed.

A message Data was saved will be displayed on the bottom of your screen.

You have successfully created a new FPM Message Mapper in your SAP system.
