What is the Inspector Qualification in SAP?
In order to perform a master inspection in QM characteristics and inspection methods, a user needs to define the qualifications of an inspector that he must have to perform an inspection.
How to Define Inspector Qualification in SAP?
Please follow the steps below to define a new inspector qualification in your SAP system:
Enter t-code SPRO in the SAP command field and Execute it.
Now on Customizing: Execute Project screen click the SAP Reference IMG button to proceed.
Next, navigate to the following SAP IMG path:
Quality Management > Quality Planning > Basic Data > Inspection Characterstics, Inspection Method > Define Inspector Qualification
On the Change View "Inspector Qualification": Overview screen, you will get the list of previously defined Inspector Qualifications in your SAP system.
Next click on the New Entries button to define a new Inspector Qualification in your SAP system.
Now, provide the following details about the configuration of new threshold values according to your requirement as shown in the image below:
Next, once all details are entered click the Save button to save the new configuration of the Inspector Qualification.
Next, select your Customization Request id and press Enter to proceed.
A message Data was saved will be displayed on the bottom of your screen implying that the new configuration has been saved into your SAP system.
You have successfully defined a new Inspector Qualification in your SAP QM system.
