What is Legal Regulation in SAP GRC?
Legal regulations in SAP GRC are the controlling elements that determine the custom and compliance law that has to be observed in GTS for the execution of business transactions in the backend of the SAP ECC system.
How to Define Legal Regulations in SAP GRC?
Please follow the steps below to define legal regulations in your SAP system:
Enter t-code SPRO in the SAP command field and Execute it.
Now on Customizing: Execute Project screen click the SAP Reference IMG button to proceed.
Next, navigate to the following SAP IMG path:
SPRO > SAP Reference IMG > Governance, Risk and Compliance > International Trade > General Settings > Legal Regulation > Define Legal Regulation
On the Change View "Legal Regulation - Basic Settings": Overview screen, you will see the list of the previously defined Legal regulations in your SAP system.
Next click on the New Entries button to define a new Legal regulation in your SAP system.
Now, provide the following details about the new Legal regulation:
Once all the details are entered click the Save button to save the new configuration of the legal regulation.
Next, select your Customization Request id and press Enter to proceed.
A message Data was saved will be displayed on the bottom of your screen.
You have successfully created a new Legal regulation ST in your SAP GRC system
