What is Neilsen ID in SAP?
Nielsen ID or Neilsen Indicator is defined in the SAP so that customer's subsidiaries can be located. It is specified in the general data of the customer master record as part of the marketing information.
How to Define Neilsen ID in SAP?
Please follow the steps below to define the neilsen id in your SAP system:
Enter t-code SPRO in the SAP Command Field and then press Enter button to Execute.
Now on Customizing: Execute Project screen click the SAP Reference IMG button to proceed.
Next, navigate to the following SAP IMG path:
SPRO > SAP Reference IMG > Sales and Distribution > Master Data > Business Partners > Customers > Marketing > Define Nielsen ID
Next on the Change View "Nielsen ID": Overview screen, you will see the previously defined Nielsen ids on your SAP system.
Next, click the New Entries button to define a new Neilsen Indicator in your SAP system.
Now, provide the following details for the new Nielsen Indicator as shown in the image below:
- Nielsen Indicator: Enter a two-digit id that defines the new Nielsen Id
- Description: Enter the short description for the new Neilson ID.
Once all the details are entered click the Save button to save the details of the new neilsen id.
Next, select your Customization Request id and press Enter to proceed.
A message Data was saved will be displayed on the bottom of your screen.
You have successfully created a new Nielsen ID in your SAP system.
