What is the Order of Priority for BOM Usage?

The selection priorities are assigned to the bill of material usage. The BOM usage is a parameter in the order type (see Settings for BOM Selection ).

How to Define Order of Priority for BOM Usage?

Please follow the steps below to define order of priority for BOM Usage:

Enter the t-code SPRO in the SAP command field and Execute it

On the next screen click on the SAP Reference IMG button as shown in the image below:

Now follow the below SAP IMG navigation path:

SPRO > SAP Reference IMG > Production > Profitability Analysis > Tools > Basic Data > Bill of Material > Alternative Determination > Define Order of Priority for BOM Usages

Next on Change View "Order of Priority for BOM Usages": Overview you will see the list of previous entries.

Click on the New Entries button to define a new Order of Priority for BOM Usage.

Now on the next screen enter the following details as shown in the image below.

Once all the details are entered click on the Save button to save all configuration

Select your Customizing Request code and press Enter to move to the next screen.

A message data was saved will be displayed on the bottom of your screen.
