What is Parameter in SAP?
Parameters in SAP Sales and Distribution are variables of objects and processes that are relevant to supply chain event management(SCEM-relevant).
How to Define Parameter ID in SAP?
Please follow the steps below to define the parameter in your SAP system:
Enter t-code SPRO in the SAP Command Field and then press Enter button to Execute.
Now on Customizing: Execute Project screen click the SAP Reference IMG button to proceed.
Next, navigate to the following SAP IMG path:
SPRO > SAP Reference IMG > Sales and Distribution > Master Data > Business Partners > Customers > Marketing > Define Parameter
Next on the Change View "Parameter": Overview screen, you will see the previously defined Parameters on your SAP system.
Next, click the New Entries button to define a new Parameter in your SAP system.
Now, provide the following details for the new Nielsen Indicator as shown in the image below:
- Nielsen Indicator: Enter a two-digit id that defines the new Nielsen Id
- Description: Enter the short description for the new Neilson ID.
Once all the details are entered click the Save button to save the details of the new parameter in SAP SD.
Next, select your Customization Request id and press Enter to proceed.
A message Data was saved will be displayed on the bottom of your screen.
You have successfully created a new Parameter in your SAP system.
