What are Semantic Fields in SAP?

How to Define Semantic Field SAP?
Please follow the steps below to define semantic fields in your SAP system:
Execute t-code SPRO in the SAP command field and execute it.
On the next screen click the SAP Reference IMG button to proceed to the next screen.
Now navigate to the following SAP IMG path:
SCM Extended Warehouse Management – Extended Warehouse Management – Cross-Process Settings – Acces Codes – Basics – Define Semantic Fields
Next on the Change View "Object Link Type Definition": Overview screen you will see a list of previously defined Semantic Fields on your SAP system.
Next, click the New Entries button to define a new semantic field.

Next enter the following details for the new semantic field as shown in the image below:
Once all the details have been entered click the Save button to save the new configuration.
Now select your Customization Request id and press Enter to go to next screen.
Next, the status bar displays a message Data was saved on the bottom of your screen.
You have successfully defined a new Semantic field in your SAP system as shown in the screenshot below.
