What are Target Groups in SAP?
A target group is a list of business partners, marketing prospects, or contact persons that have been selected and combined specifically for marketing activity, for example, to be contacted as part of a campaign.
How to Define Target Group is in SAP?
Please follow the steps below to define a new workflow id in the SAP PPM system:
Enter t-code SPRO in the SAP Command Field and press Enter to execute it
Next, click the SAP Reference IMG button to proceed.
Now on Display IMG screen navigate to the following SAP IMG path:
SAP Banking > SAP Business Partner for Financial Services > General Settings > Basic Settings > Define Target Group
Next on Change View "Define Target Group": Overview screen you will see the list of previously defined Target Groups in your SAP system.
Click on the New Entries button to define a new Target Group in your SAP system.
Now input the following details for the new Target Groups shown in the screenshot below:
Once all details are entered click the Save button to save the new configuration of the newly defined Target Group in your SAP system.
Now select your Customization Request id and press Enter to proceed further.
Next, in the status bar a message Data was saved will be displayed at the bottom of your screen.
You have successfully defined a new Target Group in your SAP system.
