Define Web Services Alias in SAP

How to Define Web Services Alias in SAP?

Please follow the steps below to define a new web services alias in the SAP BASIS system:

Execute t-code SPRO in the SAP command field as shown in the image below.

Next, click the SAP Reference IMG button to proceed.

Now navigate to the following SAP IMG path:

SAP Portofolio and Project Management > Portofolio Management > Base System Interfaces > Application Object Setting > Define Web Server Alias

On the Change View "Alias for the Web Server of an SAP Transaction": Overview screen, you will see a list of all previously defined Web Services Alias in your SAP system.

Click on the New Entries button to create a new Web Services Alias.

Now input the following details about new Web Services Alias according to the requirement:

• Web Services Alias
• Web Services Address

Next, once all details are entered click the Save icon to save the newly configured Web Services Alias.

Next, select your Customization Request id and press Enter key to proceed.

You have successfully defined a new Web Services Alias STECH.PROJ in your SAP system.
