What is the difference between listener and scan listener?

Listener: n/w connection for Oracle ex: a telephone receiver you need a speaker and listener on the same a n/w connection in oracle has listener and tns.ora.

Scan listener: complete RAC usage. we have n-nodes scan helps to check each node and talk with them is there is a need.
