How to background the job of MD02

Hi basis guru`s,

      I am quite of tried on backgrounding the job of the trnansaction
code MD02 ; i want to do this one in mySAP

      is it coming under ABAP program ,external command or external
program .

         Detailed steps would be more useful .help me out .

MD02 : MRP RUN.

For scheduling MRP run , the transaction is MDBT.
Create a variant and schedule a job by using that variant.
