How to Extract Long text in SAP

I need to extract long text from multiple QM objects and have not found a good/easy way to find/extract this data.

I am looking to extract the long text for batch classes (023) and also for the QM in SD records. I can see in table QVDM that long text exists for the QM in SD records but I can't actually find the text easily.

Use the function module read_text. The long text is stored in STXH and STXL tables.
