How to find the OS/Version, kernel version, files in SAP?

Hi,

How to find the Operating System and its version in SAP?

I hope this can be seen thru System-Status... Is PID displayed Under OS is the OS version?

How to find the kernel version and the files inside the RUN folder thru SAP?

Yes in system status click the button beside navigate (other kernal Info) You will get the details u require.

Thanks for the info. But i can see the Kernel version but not the kernel files... Can all the files (present in /usr/sap/sid/sys/exe/run folder) be seen thru SAP? Pls let me know..

Goto SM51 and click on Release Notes, you'll find the Kernel version

open the cmd
in that type disp+work
you will get info about the kernel version, patch

For check kernal version on OS level
open the command prompt
in that type disp+work
you will get info about the kernel version, patch, etc
