How to Get SAP Installation Number and Change it?

Hello SAP Gurus,

I have installed 4.6c. When I run the command..saplicense -get or show it shows my installation no as INTIAL but when I try to renew my license it says enter a 10 digit no. not INITIAL. I want to know how to fix this problem? If anyone from you guys can solve it then please share your kind solutions here with me.

You need to find out the installtion number for this installation. You can find the relevant information through the url http://service.sap.com/licensekeys

For this you need to have a customer OSS id given to your company. Cheers..Nirmal

Yes - INITIAL is like the name itself an "INITIAL" license. You can`t renew that one. You need to get a "real" license.
