How to start and stop the sap router and troubleshoot?

How to start and stop the sap router.If sap router will not start how to troubleshoot?

    Which level you want to trouble shoot the SAP router

    If that SAp level :

    then u can only edit saprouter file in the RUN Folder.

    Try googling out for SAP Rauter notes - you would find many notes on the same

    like Router to link, Making it primary secondary Etc.....


    If thats os level -


    you should know which ROUTER you are using

    Understand the Arciture

    Undestand the Routing Table

    then fing the OS Comand for configuring / re configuring the or start
    or shut down the rouder

    you need to understand the Pointers

    and many issues.

    WOkay, number one, read the doc's that come with SAPRouter. Also, install it as a service if on Windows, and a daemon if on Unix. That way it runs whenever the system is restarted.

    If it doesn't start, look at every log it has. This is one of the easiest services that SAP gives.

    This is just a command stores in batch file, keep the correct syntax. After starting the SAP Router, you check the correctness from SAP Market place opening Service connection.
