ICM_HTTP_SSL_ERROR error when testing webservice in t-code SE80

Hello SAP Experts,

While testing the Consumer Proxy in t-code SE80 or checking it via t-code SRTUTIL, the following error is thrown:

SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ('ICF Error when receiving the response: ICM_HTTP_SSL_ERROR')

As you mentioned that you are facing 'RT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ('ICF Error when receiving the response: ICM_HTTP_SSL_ERROR')' error while testing a Consumer Proxy via t-code SE80 or t-code SRTUTIL. I think this error must be caused due to incorrect configuration of SSL connection.
Therefore please check that the following are configured in your system:
- Active HTTPS port in transaction SMICM.
- Please take a look at SAP document 510007 and 1318906 as the system is configured for SSL.
- The PSE which is used by you must be created and activated in t-code STRUST.
Note: If in case error 'the verification of the server's certificate chain failed' occurs it can be seen in the monitoring tools (e.g. SRT_UTIL or level 3 ICM Trace).
