What is IDoc and DME stand for and what is the difference between this 2 payment methods.

Idoc is a intermediate doc which is work for data flow from non sap to sap or sap to sap. where as DME for data Exchange from other system(Oracle) to SAP.

Idoc stands for intermediate documents which is a framework used to transfer data from SAP to non SAP or SAP to SAP systems while DME represents data medium exchange which originates from data medium exchange engine which facilitates the drop of your bank file to the D-directory(AL11) that needs to be processed by the bank after the payment run.
