In this SAP Basis tutorial, the users will learn the step-by-step process to maintain the Application Specific SSF Parameter in their SAP system with proper screenshots.
What is SSF Parameter?
The SSF parameters are the parameters in SAP that define the SSF configuration on the front ends and on the application server. Profile parameters values override those in environment variables.
How to Maintain Application-Specific SSF Parameter?
Please follow the steps below to maintain application-specific SSF parameter your SAP system:
Execute t-code SPRO in the SAP Command Field and press Enter to execute it.
On the next screen click the SAP Reference IMG button to proceed to the next screen.
Now navigate to the following SAP IMG path:
Multi-Bank Connectivity Connector > Maintain SSF Application Parameter
Next on the Change View "Application-Specific SSF Parameters screen you will see a list of previously maintained SSF parameters on your SAP system.
Next, click the New Entries button to maintain the new SSF application parameter in your SAP CO system.
Select the SSF Application as shown in the image below:
Click the Save button
Now select your Customization Request id and press Enter to proceed.
A message Default values created for SSF parameter will be displayed at the bottom of your screen.
On the next update the default values according to your specific application requirements:
- Security Product
- SSF Format
- Private Address Book
- SSF Profile Name
- SSF Profile ID (Optional)
Once all the details have been entered click the Save button to save the newly updated parameters for SSF.
A message Data saved will be displayed on the bottom of your screen.
You have successfully maintained SSF in your SAP system.
