One can reduce load of Operation in a tasklist by using sub-operation functionality since operation post update requiste are there e.g system condition etc.
let's take a task of Weekly Maintenance which is having in general 10 operations in convential method we have to make 10 operations. now if you use sub opertion make one opertaion weekly pm checks and asign other opertion as suboperation. so now user have to update only main operation & provide the system condition which mandatory to close the order considering that all step performed are executed & found ok. any deviation can be recorded by maintaining system status aginst suboperation(Optional) & any abnormality will be recored by ussing IW21 notifications.
Thus reducing the load by 1/10 .
