Restore Backup with BRRESTORE command

Anyone know step by step procedure to restore backup with brrestore command on diffrent SID & diffrent Hostname?

FYI,

We are using windows2003 with oracle 10.2. & ECC 6.0
We want to restore backup(offline+redo logs) from PRD(SID1) to DEV (SID2)

i think you want to do the homogeneous copy. You can get a document on SAP portal.

Use client Export/ Import if your DB export is not more than 50GB. will take less time and error free.

But your source and target system must be in sync; same support packs/add on installed on both system.

it is not possible on window 2003
in windows we are using system copy,rman ,oracle to restore backup

bakup restore is possible through brtools on aix,unix
