SAP Support Pack Upgrade for HR

My HR functional consultant want to upgrade support pack to sp level 60.
Current leve is as under:
SAP_HR Release 604 SP49
SAP_HRCIN Release 604 SP49

My question is:
1. Only HR component will be upgraded?
2. Can I upgrade only SAP_HRCIN or I have to upgrade SAP_HR?

Please help me in the matter.

    Use your solution Manager to select the HR patches. This will let you know of any prerequisites that you will need.

    Of course, nowadays SAP offers flexibility in applying SP's.
    However it is normal to apply each SP after the current level to the desired level, this includes all the modules you are using, not just CIN but all related to each level.
    This is because there would be related material and it would be preferable to keep all in sync.

    This is not quite true. SAP's best practice is to apply Support Package Stack, however this is slightly different with HR support packages, as there are country specific Legal Packages that need to be applied outside of a Support Package stack.
    There are some HR support packages do require a higher level of the Basis Support Package.

    You need to use Solution Manager Maintenance Optimizer to select all the Support packages you need to patch the HR modules.

    true and while going through mopz dont use maintenance use EHP and it will show all the components which are required to install your required HR package

    Hello
    You cannot update just SAP_HRCIN as this is a sub component of SAP_HR. This gets updated along with other patches when you update SAP_HR and EA_HR components.
    Use MOPZ to do the target level stack file.
