What are Suitability Ranges in SAP?
Suitability Ranges in SAP PM defined to structure the Suitability percentages ranking list better (Customizing). An SAP user can specify how the system should handle overqualification when the suitability percentage is being calculated (Customizing).
How to Define Suitability Range in SAP?
Please follow the steps below to define the suitability range:
Execute t-code SPRO in the SAP Command Field and press Enter to execute it.
On the next screen click the SAP Reference IMG button to proceed to the next screen.
Now navigate to the following SAP IMG path:
Personnel Management > Personnel Development > Functions > Define Suitability Ranges
Next on the Change View "Suitability Ranges for Career and Succession Planning": Overview screen you will see a list of previously defined Suitability Ranges on your SAP system.
Next, click the New Entries button to define a new Suitability Ranges.
Next on the new entries screen enter the following details as shown in the image below:
Once all the details have been entered click the Save button to save the configuration of the new industry.
Next, select the Customization Request and click the Green Tick button to proceed to next step.
A message Data was saved will be displayed on the bottom of your screen.
You have successfully defined a new Suitability Ranges in your SAP system.
