What is the Threshold Value in SAP?
The threshold value in SAP PPM represents the lower limit of duration. If an SAP user uses a threshold value, then duration is only taken into account if it exceeds the given period of time. The maximum value defines the upper limit of a duration
How to Define Threshold Value in SAP?
Please follow the steps below to define a new threshold value in your SAP system:
Enter t-code SPRO in the SAP command field and Execute it.
Now on Customizing: Execute Project screen click the SAP Reference IMG button to proceed.
Next, navigate to the following SAP IMG path:
SAP Portfolio and Project Management > Evaluations > Define Threshold Value
On the Change View "Threshold Value": Overview screen, you will get the list of previously defined Threshold values in your SAP system.
Next click on the New Entries button to define a new Threshold Values in your SAP system.
Now, provide the following details about the configuration of new threshold values according to your requirement as shown in the image below:
Next, once all details are entered click the Save button to save the new configuration of the threshold values.
Next, select your Customization Request id and press Enter to proceed.
A message Data was saved will be displayed on the bottom of your screen implying that the new configuration has been saved into your SAP system.
You have successfully defined a threshold value in your SAP PPM system.
