Can Two Company Codes Assigned to the Same Controlling Area?

Hello Expets,

I am creating two company Codes, one in India and another in UK and Reporting should be done in US (Group Currency - USD). My doubt is that if these Company Codes can be assigned to the same Controlling Area. These two have got different Fiscal Year Variants.

Kindly share your views here.

Two company codes can be assigned to same controlling area only if they are using same coa and same fiscal year variant.

There is no alternative solution for this, what you can do is assign controlling are to leading ledger company code and carry out the controlling activities of non leading ledger of other company code at company code with leading ledger.

Thanks Chandan. In my case, these 2 have different FYV. Any alternative solution?
