ORA-12154 PING(ARC2): Heartbeat failed to connect to standby Error in dataguard configuration

Hello Experts,

Could you please explain me that why I am getting this error (ORA-12154 PING(ARC2): Heartbeat failed to connect to standby) while configuring dataguard.

Listener and Tnsping is working fine.

Kindly assist here, Thanks in advance.

Please Try to connect with sqlplus on both primary and standby.

Create password file at prod and copy it to dr and Check log_archive_dest_state_2 value set to enable
If not in sync, then bounce there instance and put in MRM mode and see.
