Define Contract Type in SAP REFX

In this SAP FICO tutorial, we will learn the step-by-step procedure to create a Contract Type in the SAP Real Estate Management system with proper screenshots.

What is Contract Type in SAP?

The contract type is SAP Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) module is the main element that controls a real estate contract.

How to Create Contract Type?

Please follow the steps below to create the new contract type:

Execute t-code SPRO in the SAP command field as shown in the image below.

Next click on the SAP Reference IMG button to go to next screen.

Now navigate to the following SAP menu:

SPRO > SAP Reference IMG > Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) > Contract > Contract Type > Define Contract Types

Next on  Change View "Contract Type": Overview screen you will see the list of all previously defined contract types in your SAP system.

Now click the New Entries button to define a new contract type in your SAP system.

Next on the new entries screen specify the fields according to your business requirements:

Once all the details are entered click the Save icon to save the new contract type

Next, select your Customization Request id and press Enter to proceed

A message Data was saved will appear at the bottom of your screen

You have successfully created a new contract type ST in your SAP system.
