How to Define Interest Calculation Type in SAP?
Please follow the steps below to define a new Interest Calculation Type in SAP FICO:
Enter t-code OB46 in the SAP command field as shown in the image below and execute it.
Note: You can also follow the SAP IMG path as shown above.
On the next screen, you will see a list of all previously defined Interest Calculation Type in your SAP system.
Click on the New Entries button to define a new Interest Calculation Type.
Now input the following details according to the requirement of your requirement:
- Interest Indicator
- Name
- Select Interest Calculation Type
Note: Interest calculation types are P & Z.
Next, once all details are entered click the Save icon to save the new Interest Calculation Type.
Next, select your Customization Request id and press Enter key to proceed.
The status bar displays a message Data was saved on your screen.
You have successfully defined a new Interest Calculation Type 18 in your SAP system.
