What is Logical Port Name in SAP?
Logical Port Name is a special ID assigned to a Logical Port created using t-code SOAMANAGER for runtime representation of a proxy definition in SAP Web Server.
How to Define Logical Port Names in SAP?
Please follow the steps below to set up the Logical Port Name in SAP FSCM:
Enter the t-code SPRO in the SAP command field and click the execute button
Next, click the SAP Reference IMG button
Now on the display IMG screen, go to the following IMG path:
SPRO > IMG > Financial Supply Chain Management > Billing Consolidation > General Settings > Define Logical Port Names
Next on Change View “EDX: Table: Service Provider, Logical Port”: Overview screen, you will see the list of all the previously defined Logical Port Names in your SAP FCM system
Click the New Entries button for creating new Logical Port Names in your SAP system.
Now on the new screen, enter the following details according to your business requirement:
- Service Provider ID
- Name of Logical Port
- Name of Service Provider
Once all the details are entered click the Save button to save the newly configured logical port names in your SAP system.
Next, select your Customization Request id and press the Enter button to proceed
You will get a message Data was saved on your screen.
You have successfully defined a new Logical Port Name STEC in your SAP system.
