What is a Node Attributes in SAP?
Node attributes in the SAP Control system are a special option (name-value pair) that applies to a node object in the SAP system.
How to Define Node Attributes?
Please follow the step below to define the new node attributes:
Enter t-code SPRO in the SAP command field and press Enter to execute.
Now on the next screen click the SAP Reference IMG button.
Next, go to the following SAP menu path:
SPRO -> SAP Reference IMG –> Controlling > Cost Center Accounting > Master Data > Define Node Attributes
On the Change View "Node Attribute": Overview screen, you will see the list of the previously defined Node Attributes on your SAP system.
Next click on the New Entries button to define a new Node Attribute in your SAP system.
Now, fill in the following details for the new Node Attribute as shown in the image below:
- Enter the other optional details as per your business requirements.
Once all the details are entered click the Save button at the bottom to save the new attribute node.
Next, select your Customization Request id and press Enter to proceed.
A message Data was saved will be displayed on the bottom of your screen.
You have successfully defined a new Node Attribute in your SAP Control system.
