What is Work Center in SAP?
The work center in SAP HANA EWM is a physical location that is used for activities such as product packing, de-consolidation, etc. Different types of work centers based on work centers’ layout can be defined in embedded EWM.
How to Work Center in SAP?
Please follow the steps below to define work centers in your SAP system:
Enter t-code SPRO in the SAP command field and press Enter to execute the transaction code.
On the next screen click the SAP Reference IMG button to proceed to the next steps.
Now navigate to the following SAP IMG path:
SPRO > SAP Reference IMG > SCM Extended Warehouse Management > Extended Warehouse Management > Master Data > Work Centers > Define Work Center
Next on the Change View "Define Work Center": Overview screen you will see a list of all previously defined work centers on your SAP system.
Next, click the New Entries button to define configurations for the new custom Work Center.
Now on the next screen enter Warehouse no. and Work Center as shown in the image below
Next, enter specify all the required fields under Define Work Center.
Once all the details have been entered click the Save button to save the new configuration for the work center.
Now select your Customization Request id and press Enter to go to the next screen.
Next, the message Data was saved will be displayed at the bottom of your screen
You have successfully defined new custom ABC indicators D on your SAP system.
