Difference Between FBZP and F11CU

Updated Sep 25, 2023

While FBZP and F11CU both play roles in configuring payment programs within SAP, they are distinct in their focus and purpose. In this article, we will learn what FBZP and F11CU are, and highlight a few key differences between them.

What is FBZP?

FBZP is a transaction code in SAP that stands for "Payment Program Configuration". Specifically, it is the configuration for the F110 Automatic Payment Program. The F110 program is widely used for processing outgoing payments, such as vendor payments. FBZP plays a pivotal role in setting up and fine-tuning the parameters for this automated payment process.

What is F11CU?

On the other hand, F11CU is another configuration transaction, which serves a slightly different purpose. It's the configuration for Treasury Payments, specifically those originating from F111, which is primarily used for handling Payment Requests. Payment Requests are a component of the SAP Treasury and Risk Management module and are generally used for handling more specialized, non-standard payment scenarios.

Key Differences Between FBZP and F11CU

  • T-code FBZP configures the parameters for the F110 Automatic Payment Program, primarily used for standard vendor payments whereas F11CU configures payment programs originating from F111, specifically for handling specialized treasury payments, such as Payment Requests.
  • FBZP and F11CU are separate transaction codes, allowing for independent configurations of standard vendor payments (F110) and specialized treasury payments (F111).
  • T-code FBZP enables automation of standard payment processes, including house bank and banking determination configuration whereas t-code F11CU deals with more diverse payment requests that may not be as easily automated as standard vendor payments.
