The SAP HANA is a management tool for working with HANA. It helps users to cope with the SAP HANA database, to create innovative data models or transform current models of data or to make and manage user consents. It is a client tool, which is used for accessing local or remote HANA system. It provides a setting for Administration, Data Provisioning and Modeling. The several predefined User Interface plans that addresses several applications forms are the perspectives of SAP HANA Studio.
There are 2 main sub-nodes of every HANA system in HANA studio. This includes:
- Catalog
- Content
Modeler Perspective:
This offers opinions and list of options that allow the user to describe the analytic model, for instance, analytic, attribute, and calculation opinions of SAP HANA data.
SAP HANA Development Perspective:
This offers opinions and list of options that allow the user to execute the tasks concerning to application development on SAP HANA XS, for instance: to cope with the application-development ventures, show content of application packages, and surf the SAP HANA source. This perspective is most often used by developers in SAP HANA.
The Debug Perspective:
This offers opinions and list of options that allow the user to test the applications, for instance: observe or change variables, to check the source code and establish break points. This helps in debugging the codes that we write when constructing web applications by means of developments perspective.
Administration Console Perspective:
This offers opinions and list of options that allow the user to execute various administrative tasks on SAP HANA examples. This perspective is most often used by administrators in SAP HANA.
Catalog and Content:
2 main sub-nodes are present in every HANA system in HANA studio. This includes:

- Content
Catalog:
This signifies SAP HANA’s data dictionary, that is, entire data structures, data, and tables which can be utilized. Under the Catalog node, the physical tables and views can be found. This node comprises of a list of Schemas which is used to classify tables as per the user defined groups.
Content:
The Content signifies the design-time repository which includes all information of data models that are generated with the Modeler. Actually, these models are kept in database tables which are noticeable under Catalog. The Models are prearranged in Packages. The Contents node offers a diverse view on the similar physical data.
