During startup the indexserver consumes to much memory and crashes due to out of memory.
Reason:
If you drop a table the allocated space will be released asynchronous in the background. If the indexserver gets restarted in the meantime this operation is done during the startup of the indexserver.
Due to a programming error this operation consumes to much memory in case of rowstore tables if the size of the dropped table is too huge.
Prerequisites:
1. SAP HANA database before Revision 23
2. The indexserver crashes during startup with out-of-memory after dropping a huge rowstore table.
SAP is going to provide a solution in Revision 23.
